ML SOUND LAB AMPED ROOTS 2.0 | Heavy Djent Playthrough
Hey all! In this video I showcase the latest update to ML Sound Lab’s product library, Amped Roots 2.0! This takes an already versatile plugin, and adds a few new features, such as new pedals, a 3D cabinet section (which I really dig), MIDI controllability, and their Vorna modelling engine.
If you’ve noticed I’m in a new room, there’s a severe lack of cable management, and my desk is literally a keyboard stand and a plank of wood, that’s because I’m now in my new house! 😀 There’s still a lot of things I want to work on in the space (cable management, acoustic panels, altering my rackmount desk), but it now means I have a room that is fully dedicated to my music gear, so expect to see more in the future.
The guitar I’m using is an Ibanez RGDIX6MPB, tuned to G D G D G A (using a D’Addario NYXL 7 string set that is actually designed for a Strandberg 7 string – the tensions are perfect for the tuning, I’ve found).
