WHAT IS ‘DJENT’ (Modern Progressive Metal), PRAISE/CRITICISM/FUTURE
In 2000’s an underground sub genre of progressive metal has been gradually growing taking it’s official start in 2009 with Animals as Leaders’ self titled debut release and Periphery’s self titled debut release in 2010. Most of the time this sub genre of progressive metal would be called ‘Djent’! Over the years ‘Djent’ has gained both praise and criticism. In this video i will go into more details of this topic.
